Our herb blends are constantly adjusted to make them more appropriate for the given season. We add more lightening herbs for the spring, cooler herbs for summer, and warmer herbs for winter. They are all blended by hand, intuitively, with the intention for them to be balanced and absorbable while also being supremely effective!
Rehmannia is a superb, strengthening tonic for the entire body, but it has a special affinity for the entire skeletal system. There have been many studies done showing it's amazingly beneficial influence on both the bones and teeth.
Drynaria is known as an herbal bone-mender. It is probably the most preferred herb for mending broken bones or teeth. Teasel root is known to help bones heal.
Eucommia is a classic Chinese tonic herb that is known for supporting healthy bones and joints. It is used to help fortify the bones, ligaments and tendons.
Pearls and coral are rich sources of minerals that support healthy bones, teeth, as well as supporting clear and healthy skin. An interesting quality of pearls is that they are also said to be potent medicine for grief and are known to be very uplifting for the spirit.
Oatstraw, alfalfa, and horsetail are the classic Western herbs used to strengthen and nourish the bones, hair, and teeth. They have a rich mineral content and are very nourishing and supportive to the skeletal system.
Hadjod is an Ayurvedic herb that increase bone mineral density by stimulating bone metabolism and increasing the uptake of minerals calcium, phosphorus, sulfur, and strontium
Shilajit is a powerful source of trace minerals.
Licorice is used synergistically to increase the absorption and assimilation of the rest of the herbs in the formula.
Black sesame seeds are extremely supportive to the bones; supplying many of the vitamins and minerals necessary for them to be strong and healthy. It is said in ancient Chinese texts that if one eats enough black sesame seeds, the teeth will regrow in three years! You can search the internet and you will find many beautiful, inspiring stories of people re-growing their hair and healing their bones.
Directions for use;
Pour desired amount into a glass and cover with hot/ boiling water. Let cool to a drinkable temperature. Drink and enjoy! You do NOT need to drink the powder at the bottom to get the full benefits! If you want to, you can pour another cup of hot water over the remnants and make another cup of tea! Some people take as little as 1/4 tsp all the way up to 2 tsp per day! There is a huge variation.
Like all of our blends, our recommendation is to take this intuitively! The amount you need to heal will be totally unique to YOU! It is not a matter of whether or not herbs work, it is a matter of proper dosage and also of taking the proper herb! The amount you need to heal may be HALF or DOUBLE what someone else might need! Trust yourself. If you feel you need more, take more! This is how you will heal! Herbs are VERY often chronically under-dosed. We make our blends VERY energetically-balanced to ensure that you will be safe to play around with dosages.. But ALWAYS pay attention to your body, if something is or isn't making you feel good- PAY ATTENTION TO THAT!
