Why is there a Prop 65
warning on my product?
warning on my product?
We are required by law to apply Proposition 65 labels to products containing cadmium and/or lead and other select ingredients to sell in California. Even though our products are tested and are nowhere near levels needed for Prop 65 we have decided to display this warning in an abundance of caution to prevent unwarranted lawsuits from unscrupulous attorneys.
Based on one serving of Tooth Puddy, the amount of lead per serving would be 0.06 micrograms; similar levels to butter, bone broth, pinto beans, and pears. 0.06 micrograms is equaled to 0.00006 milligrams. This would mean that a child could eat 36 servings of puddy per day and still be below the daily limit of 2.2 micrograms. Females of childbearing age could eat over 146 servings and still be below the daily limit or 8.8 micrograms.
FOR MORE INFORMATION on our levels of cadmium and lead, please see our Product Purity Data.
If you have any further concerns or questions, please reach out to us and we'd happy to discuss it further.
